This policy applies to paid plans on auditmann.com and the Auditmann application, operated by Booksmann Private Limited ("Auditmann", "we", "us"). It forms part of our Terms and Conditions. By paying for a plan you agree to it.
1. Free trial
We may offer a free trial so you can test Auditmann before paying. No charge is made during a trial unless you choose a paid plan. Trial features, limits and duration may change. Because you can evaluate the Services free of charge, you are expected to do so before buying.
2. Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you choose (monthly, annual or as shown at checkout) and renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. Fees are exclusive of GST and other applicable taxes unless stated. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges to your chosen payment method.
3. Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time from your account or by writing to support@auditmann.com.
- Cancel at least [3] days before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Cancellation stops future renewals only.
- After cancelling you keep access until the end of the period already paid for. We do not give pro rata refunds or credit for unused time, unused seats, unused features or partial periods.
- Closing or deleting your account, or simply no longer using the Services, is not a cancellation.
4. Refunds
- First payment only. If you are a new paying customer and are not satisfied, you may request a refund within 7 days of your first payment for a plan, provided you have not made substantial use of the Services. Substantial use means, for example, generating or exporting full financial statements or TDS outputs for more than [two] entities or having your data processed to a significant extent. We decide this in good faith.
- Not refundable. Renewals, annual or multi month plans after the 7 day window, upgrades, add ons, one time setup or onboarding fees, custom work, and any amount paid for a period already started.
- Non refundable in all cases. Fees for accounts suspended or terminated for breach of the Terms, and requests based on the way Outputs turned out. Outputs are drafts that you must verify (see the Terms), and a difference between an Output and your expectations, a change in law, or an authority's or client's decision is not a ground for refund.
- Our error. If we charge you twice or the wrong amount because of our mistake, we will refund the excess in full once verified.
- Service discontinued. If we permanently discontinue the Services as a whole, we will refund any prepaid fees for the period after discontinuation. This is your only remedy in that case.
- We may refuse a refund where we reasonably suspect abuse, repeated refund requests or fraud.
5. How to ask for a refund
Email support@auditmann.com from your registered email within the time limit, with your name, firm, the invoice or payment reference, the date and amount paid, and the reason. We may ask for more information. We will reply within 7 working days of receiving everything we need.
6. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method only, usually within 7 to 10 working days from approval. Your bank or payment provider may take longer, and we are not responsible for their delays. Payment gateway charges, bank charges and any taxes that cannot be reclaimed may be deducted from the refund where the law allows. Refunds are made in Indian rupees, and we are not responsible for any currency conversion or exchange differences.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer. If you file a chargeback for a payment that is valid under this policy, we may suspend your account immediately, challenge the dispute, and recover the amount along with our reasonable costs.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes apply to purchases and renewals made after the new effective date.
